I am so excited to share a recipe for your Summer Days featuring CherryMan Maraschino Cherries. If you have not tried a CherryMan product – you are missing out. They are deeeeee-lish! Click here to read more about CherryMan and to find many more awesome recipes. I did learn that these cherries are Made in the USA from cherries Grown in the USA (Michigan and Oregon to be precise). Here is my recipe for Cherry + Banana Paletas – I always have ripe (frozen) bananas in my freezer and they worked very well for this recipe. Plus, these paletas are a refreshing and yummy summer dessert.
This recipe was inspired by Laura Kelly’s super cute “Banana Split” Sizzix Bigz die (Retail: $19.99 on Sizzix.com). I actually made this card with Laura’s Happy Mail that she sent to our team for June.
I also added the “LOVE” stamp from Laura’s self-inking stamps line from Expressionery.com on the envelope for this card. I included Laura’s signature black polka-dots AND a button cherry on top! I added the sprinkles using some puffy paint from I Love to Create. The spoon – as well as the popsicle stick that I used for the paleta – is from Baker’s Party Shop (they have an excellent selection for creatives/bakers!). I added the glitter washi tape and the twine to the spoon to give it some extra pizzazz.
The Laura Kelly Design Team has so many delicious recipes with CherryMan cherries. I hope you can check out their blogs too, and of course – enter the SWEET GIVEAWAY!
