It’s already time for BACK TO SCHOOL!
OMGeeeee, where did SUMMER go?
I have the best DIY for you as you head back to school. Teachers will love to be “tagged” by your special kiddos!
DIY: Back to School “Tag” Your Teach Craft
Supplies list:
– Tags (I used Avery Shipping Tags)
– Washi tape
– Craft knife or scissors
– School themed stamps
– Stamping ink pad
– Aleene’s Turbo Tacky Glue
– Buttons
– Cupcake liner
– Colored paper clip
– Gift card(s) to local coffee houses or anywhere fun!
Step 1. You will take a few tags and can make several at once! This is a very quick and easy crafting project! Get a few washi tape rolls and have fun as you tape them onto your tags. Trim the edges of the washi tape using a craft knife or scissors.
Step 2. Now add a stamped image such as “Thank you” or “Best Teacher Ever”. Teachers love to be thanked and told that they are doing a good job! I had an apple stamp too, so I stamped it using my red ink pad.
Step 3. You can also embellish with buttons, bling or colored paper clips! Use glue to adhere your embellishments.
Step 4. I added gift cards to the tags. You can adhere the gift cards using washi tape or a paper clip. I also got creative and glued a cupcake liner to serve as a holder for the gift card and secured the card inside with a piece of washi tape.
Teachers enjoy a gesture of thanks anytime during the school year – both my mom and dad are teachers! I hope you have fun making some tags for your teachers.
Happy Crafting!
