It’s been awhile since I have posted … so I’m back with a fun post on what happens in “A Day at the Club”. What Club? The Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside, CA.
I have held 4 scrapbook days at the Club and they have been great. First off, we get to scrapbook and have a gorgeous view of the golf course.
The day begins with pastries, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee & tea.
Everyone gets settled at their tables to scrapbook and craft their projects. Each scrapbooker is usually really happy to be there for the entire day (9 am – 4 pm). Generally, this day is filled with a good amount of catching up, jokes and laughter and just plain old fun. I am the hostess and I set up the tables before everyone (usually 20 ladies) gets there – because everyone gets a goodie bag with a Creative Memories product (i.e., sticker pack, papers, or some type of embellishment).
By the time lunch rolls around many of the scrapbookers have got into their “groove” – meaning pages have been completed or cards/projects have been made.
It also means the Cricut machine (die cut paper cutter) has probably been used!
I have host a raffle throughout the day – for every page completed you get a raffle ticket and will get a chance to win more CM samples!
Lunch is pure deliciousness, we usually have a sandwich buffet, salads and of course desserts! After lunch there is more scrappin’, chatting and raffles! Usually the day winds down with the ladies shopping in the CM store that I set up.
All in all, it’s always a very fun day at the Club!
